We are so excited to launch The Fellowship where we come together twice a month to put names to faces, make new friends, and deepen relationships in the Body of Christ. There is still time to join in, but here are the nuts and bolts of this exciting opportunity:
Time/Location: 5-6:30pm; Worship Center
Dates: Jan. 11, Jan. 25; Feb. 1, Feb. 15; Mar. 1, Mar.15; April 12 and April 26
Nightly Schedule:
30 min. for a simple meal and fellowship
20 min. to watch a video
30 min for conversation around the material
10 minutes to reset the Worship Center
The video curriculum is by John Mark Comer, based on his New York Times best-selling book entitled Practicing the Way. It teaches that apprentices (disciples) have three main tasks: Be with Jesus. Become Like Him. Do as He did.
There is no daily workbook or study required. There will be weekly spiritual practices suggested in each session.¡
Programming for kids:
Pre-school – Grade 1 students will have age-appropriate activities and will eat with parents in Worship Center ; Students in grades 2-6 will participate in Bible Bowl competition and will eat together in the Hospitality Room; Students in grades 7-12 will participate together as their own group with the adults in the Worship Center.
