The Flat Jesus Summer Challenge is an invitation to keep Jesus at the front of our minds and in our hearts as we move through Summer days.
When we seek Jesus, we find Him, and we want to share Him with our friends.
This is more than a photo opportunity. This is a call to live out our faith no matter where we go in the world.
How to participate in the Blue Grass Church Flat Jesus Summer Challenge:
You don't have to have kids or grandkids to participate--this project is for EVERYONE! It's a great way for our entire Blue Grass Church family to stay connected over the Summer and to help us ALL remember that Jesus never leaves us, and He is with us wherever we go!
Who knows, it just might start up a conversation with someone about what you are doing...and why!
Let's blow-up our BG Kids Facebook Group and show all of our church families that the Church is NOT a building!
We can't wait to see what adventures you and Flat Jesus get into this summer!

How to participate in the Blue Grass Church Flat Jesus Summer Challenge:
- Pick up a Flat Jesus at the BG Kids Welcome Desk.
- If you have access to a laminating machine, cut out and laminate your Flat Jesus. This way if he attempts to walk on water he’ll be protected!
- Over the summer, take a picture of you and Flat Jesus enjoying an adventure or activity together and then post it to our BG Kids Facebook Page. Use hashtags #FlatJesus and #BGSummerChallenge.
