The mission focus for the month of November is our Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePack Event coming up on November 20-23rd. This year we’ve partnered with FMSC to pack over 500,000 meals across two locations! This is a big goal to make a big difference. Now we’re in the home stretch and there are a couple of big ways you can help!
First, we still have quite a bit to raise to help cover the cost of the meals we’ll be packing at the event. At a cost of $106 to feed one child for a year and bring them back from the brink of starvation, the total cost for the event is $147,000, and we’re just shy of halfway there. The good news is that there’s still time to give! Head to bluegrass.church/fmsc to see how you can donate either through the church or by giving directly to FMSC with a designation toward our packing event.
The second way you can help is to sign up! You won’t want to miss this event as friends, families, neighbors, and community organizations come together to laugh, sing, and play together as we pack meals that will save lives. There’s simply nothing like it. So talk to everyone you know and invite them to register at bluegrass.church/fmsc! We’ve already got several schools and community groups signed up to help, and we’d love to add yours to the list!
